WHO I AM
Welcome to my excellent earthly adventure!
Okay, I did not always think it was excellent. Actually, I still sometimes think it’s pretty rough except that I have found my way to a new vantage point: From my Soul’s Perspective it is, in fact, pretty damn excellent!
Throughout my life, I have had to deal with a mind that wouldn’t stop thinking, a heart that wouldn’t stop yearning, and a soul that just couldn’t stop searching. My name is Annie, and I’m a Spiritaholic.
From my earliest days, I stood as a hypersensitive observer; confused and dismayed by the behavior of my fellow humans. Most of all, my heart was broken by the lack of goodwill and empathy I witnessed. For as long as I can remember, I have been a Kindness Junky.
Perhaps as a result of this heartache — or maybe just because it was my destiny — I have had to deal with serious health issues most of my life. I realize today that having death lurking around a few times since my 20’s made finding Purpose and Meaning more important than anything else, whatever the cost, and whatever jam it landed me in (I now have an impressive wall of preserves to prove it!). I am a dauntless Life Seeker.
I am indeed generally dauntless, but sometime, for a moment, my resolve falters and fear and doubt have their chance at seduction. In spite of my profound loyalty to my spirit, I am a Faulty Faith Owner.
Professionally, I’ve done many things (graphic designer, imports, greeting card collections creation and international distribution, television and radio art direction, yoga products developer, architectural designer, but never for very long because these did not satisfy my soul. What’s more, they were a series of financial messy splats worthy of Wile E. Coyote’s most memorable stunts. I am, a Fearless Crasher.

Did I not mention? I am the curious love child of Deepak Chopra and Wile E. Coyote! (an insightful soulful thinker and an entertaining, indomitable, prone-to-crashes character)
I don’t know from which of these progenitors I inherited this, but I have an almost primal need for open spaces and open gates. Don’t Fence Me In (that old cowboy song recently revived by Emily Movers is my anthem); that would kill me for sure. Enclosures and routine are like Kryptonite to this freedom warrior. My name is Deepak Coyote and I am a Fence Jumper.
As a result, I guess, I am a Nature Lover. Few things move me like nature; and I like nature wild. I need soaring peaks, untamed deserts and windswept shores. The unleashed power of a storm ignites life within me and I relish being ravished by the wind on an open ridge. Nature wows me, energizes me, centers me and inspires me. It fills me with wonder and humbles me with gratitude.
Above all, I am a Soul Shiner.
